What is a floral tonic? How do I use it?

A floral tonic is a dynamic blend of floral distillates, hydrosols and oils that can be used to nourish, hydrate and refresh the skin. To use a floral tonic, mist lightly onto the skin after cleansing and before applying moisturizer. You can also use a cotton swab to apply. Floral tonics can also be used as an aromatherapeutic spray in the home.

Are your products natural/green?

Absolutely. All of the ingredients used in our products are plant based (completely vegan and cruelty free). We don’t use any unnatural preservatives, fillers or chemicals.

Are your products made in the United States?

Yes. They are all made by hand, in small batches in Northern Utah.

How long will my tonic stay fresh? 

Harvest Moon floral tonics are brewed to order in small batches. This mean that the tonic you order is fresh when it arrives. For optimal shelf life, keep floral tonics in a cool place and out of direct sunlight. Refrigeration is a great way to prolong shelf life also, but not necessary as they all contain leucidal –an all natural preservative made from radish root ferment. All floral tonics are good for at least 6 months after being opened.

Why are my tonics different colors?

Tonics vary slightly in color because the hues of the fresh ingredients and the consistency of ingredients such as aloe water and witch hazel can be slightly different in each batch.

All orders are shipped within 5 business days. The tonics are brewed in small batches as orders are placed, so a little extra time is needed to ensure your tonic is fresh and ready to go. We use standard USPS ground for shipping which takes 3 – 7 business days. You will receive an email when your oder is received and when it is shipped. If you need an order faster than our standard delivery time you can send us an email: helloharvestmoon.com and we can typically make that happen for an extra fee.

If you notice an error in your shipping information and send an email within 24 hours we can make a correction. If incorrect information has been provided on orders that have already been sent out, the fee for reshipment is the responsibility of the buyer.
